SARAJEVO, January 6 (FENA) – President of the People and Justice Party (NiP) Elmedin Konaković urges young people in BiH to stay in the country and join the fight against a "corrupt political scene" and establish a new standard for governing political processes in the country.
Konaković said this at a press conference where he spoke about the party's activities over the past two years, and announced short and long-term goals.
“We will focus on continuing positive political trends in the Sarajevo Canton, whether in power or as an opposition. We are preparing for local elections, we will offer our vision of managing local communities in accordance with the practice of transparent work so far,” said the President of the NiP.
He referred to the work of the SC Government and asked why the most functional government in the country is the priority of overthrow. He said it was not just a struggle to take over the cantonal budget and resources, but "an attempt to stifle new political energy in its emergence, before it becomes a trend to govern the country."
He states that the NiP considers "local issues" extremely important because they directly reflect on the lives of citizens and most often influence the decision to stay or leave people from BiH.
“These issues that treat better health, education, social care, security, culture, will never cease to be the subject of our interest. NiP is aware and focused on global and regional developments affecting our country, as well as major state and economic issues. The road to NATO is a priority,” Konaković said.
He is aware of the great problem of the migrant crisis in BiH, and states that the whole state of BiH, not just the Una-Sana and the Sarajevo Canton, or only the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina must tackle this problem.
