MOSTAR, January 5 (FENA) - Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Čović congratulated Zoran Milanović, who, according to preliminary results, won in the second round of the presidential elections.
"On behalf of the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina and my own behalf, I would like to congratulate you on your election as President of the Republic of Croatia. I wish you much success in performing your presidential duties and leading Croatia for the benefit of all its citizens," Čović said in his congratulations to the newly elected President of the Republic of Croatia.
Čović points out that he is convinced that Milanović's state policy will be committed to the Croatian people in Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to protect and achieve the full equality and rights of the constituent people.
"I invite you, based on your understanding of the position of the Croatian people in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which you have expressed as Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, with successful cooperation, to work on further development and strengthening of relations between the Republic of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina and that, united in the aspirations of good neighborly relations and developed region, we are working together to accomplish the Euro-Atlantic path of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Dragan Čović, Speaker of the House of Peoples of BiH, concludes in his congratulations to Milanović.
