SARAJEVO, December 23 (FENA) - The United States Embassy to Bosnia and Herzegovina has today welcomed the appointment of a new convocation of the BiH Council of Ministers, as well as the submission of the Reform Program to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) headquarters in Brussels.
“We welcome the formation of the BiH Council of Ministers and the submission of BiH’s reform document to NATO, which will continue BiH’s partnership and cooperation with the Alliance and unlock much-needed defense reforms,” stated the US Embassy on Twitter.
Head of the Delegation of the European Union to BiH, Johann Sattler, on his Twitter profile also commended the long-overdue, but good news on the confirmation of the new BiH Council of Ministers.
“What the country and its people need now is a focus on quickly delivering concrete results,” wrote Sattler.
Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to BiH Matthew Field expressed hope that the formation of the new convocation of the Council of Ministers today will contribute to a more intensive implementation of reforms for the benefit of all citizens in BiH.
"I am also pleased to hear that the Reform Program has been submitted to Brussels, enabling continued cooperation with NATO," Field wrote on Twitter.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey also welcomed the appointment of the new Council of Ministers, 14 months after the general elections.
“We wish success to the new government, and we will continue to support efforts for the development and prosperity of the country, which the new government will invest in unity and solidarity,” it is said in a statement from the Ministry, quoted by the Turkish Embassy in BiH.
