SARAJEVO, December 17 (FENA) - The House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH has ended debate on the Budget Proposal for 2020, the law on its implementation and a set of laws relating to the integration of the FBiH Institute for Pension and Disability Insurance to treasury operations.
Voting on these laws will be held tomorrow when the continuation of the session is scheduled and by that time the Government of the Federation of BiH will consider the amendments.
The Federation of BiH budget for the next year is proposed and amounts to 4.954.392.401 KM. It is 83.0 percent or KM 2.25 billion higher than the current one.
The main reason for the increase is the integration of the FBiH Institute for Pension and Disability Insurance into the FBiH budget, whose financial plan for 2020 is about KM 2.4 billion.
It is envisaged that PIO Institute gains budgetary institution status with adoption of amendments to three laws (the Law on the Treasury, the Law on Contributions and the Law on the Budgets in the Federation of BiH).
