SARAJEVO, December 16 (FENA) - The exports of beef and bovine to Turkey has finally started and this is good news after months of waiting, Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Affairs of BiH Mirko Šarović said.
According to him, there were many problems regarding beef exports to Turkey in the past few months, but they were technical.
“Exports of chicken meat, eggs and milk have given domestic economy, first of all, international credibility, because we are recognized as a country that has quality and healthy products and produces according to the highest European standards,” Šarović said.
He stated that economic indicators are also present because many of our companies are given new free markets for products such as milk, dairy products, fruits, vegetables, and more recently chicken meat, as well as chicken and egg products.
“All these companies have been given a great opportunity for expansion, which is especially important if one knows that poultry sector alone, for example, has provided around 20,000 jobs,” BiH Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Affairs stated.
