DOBOJ, December 11 (FENA) - The BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik donated 100,000 KM to support the construction of an Islamic Center in Doboj on Wednesday, telling reporters that the entity of RS is committed to peace, stability and equal rights for all citizens.
“We all need good cooperation to maintain peace and stability,” Dodik told reporters in Doboj after visiting the site where the Islamic Center is being built.
The Head Imam of the Islamic Community in Doboj, Bajro Džafić, thanked Dodik for the donation.
“I am thankful to Dodik and authorities in Doboj for the help they are providing us. The Islamic Center will be good for all citizens,” Džafić said, and reminded that the construction began in 2015.
The Mufti of Banja Luka Nusret effendi Abdibegović also thanked Dodik for helping the Islamic Community in this city.
"I believe that we will build a madrassah in Banja Luka with the help of the RS officials," Abdibegović said.
Doboj Mayor Boris Jerinić reminded that the City of Doboj also financially supported theconstruction of the Islamic Center.
