SARAJEVO, December 10 (FENA) - The expert body for the coordination and control of the Intervening Measures Plan for Excessive Air Pollution in the Sarajevo Canton has canceled the state of preparedness mode in all zones of the Sarajevo Canton due to a decrease in air pollutant concentration.
The results of air quality monitoring by automated stations in the Sarajevo Canton have shown a significant decrease in average concentration of PM10 particulate matter in the air, which at all measurement stations did not exceed the limit values (50 µg / m3) for that given mode.
At the same time, according to the weather forecast of the FBiH Meteorological Institute in the coming days, unstable weather with precipitation and low winds are expected, which should mean maintaining the low values of the measured pollutants in the air, the SC press service announced.
