Relocation of migrants and closure of Vučjak camp next week

SARAJEVO, December 6 (FENA) - BiH Minister of Security Dragan Mektić met with Prime Minister of the Una-Sana Canton (USC) Mustafa Ružnić today in Sarajevo and discussed migration situation in the USC area, especially in Vučjak.

They agreed the relocation of migrants from that location to other reception centers outside the Una-Sana Canton early next week, and closure of Vučjak camp, the BiH Ministry of Security stated.

It was also agreed to intensify activities for the establishment of a new reception center outside the urban areas in the USC area, thus gradually move migrants from "Bira" and "Miral" reception centers.

The interlocutors stated that the most vulnerable categories, families with children and unaccompanied minors are accommodated in Borići, Sedra, Salakovac and the Delijaš Asylum Center and to have all the necessary humanitarian and other living conditions.
