SARAJEVO, December 4 (FENA) - Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dragan Čović, said today after a session of Collegium of that House that they have agreed the appointment of standing committees of the House, and have defined a possible date for the next session, which would be on December 20, in order to formally confirm this and thus create preconditions for the House to operate at full capacity.
Collegium session also discussed several initiatives and issues that will be addressed to the committees, as well as all the international activities of BiH.
Čović also announced that members of the Collegium will have a meeting today with representatives of international organizations to discuss current political topics.
"It seems to me that the situation will be somehow better, as the process of appointing the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which has been waiting a long time, is evidently underway. Therefore the basis of the conversation will be the current political situation. When the Peace Implementation Council (PIC) is in Sarajevo, then all these people want to talk and meet,” said Čović.
