SARAJEVO, November 20 (FENA) - The third emergency session of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina is scheduled for today with only one proposed item on the agenda.
It comes after a request for urgent consideration of the Proposal to amend the Rules of Procedure of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, proposed by MPs Mirko Šarović, Dragan Mektić, Branislav Borenović and Mira Pekić.
Deputies of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly and leaders of the Serb Democratic Party (SDS) and Party of Democratic Progress (PDP) Mirko Šarović and Branislav Borenović recently told reporters that they have submitted an initiative to amend the Rules of Procedure to ensure appointment of the committees of the House, because without it the highest legislative body in the country could not be fully constituted.
Speaker of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Denis Zvizdić convened a session of the Collegium of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly for today afternoon, which should include, among other, establishing a proposal for appointment of members of the standing committees of the BiH House of Representatives and an agreement to schedule a second session of the House of Representatives of the state parliament.
The agenda should also include consideration of a letter from the Constitutional Court of BiH regarding Milorad Dodik's request for review of the constitutionality of the Law on the Flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the provisions of Article I, paragraph 6 of the Constitution of BiH.
