SARAJEVO, November 18 (FENA) - BiH Presidency Chairman Željko Komšić received Commander of EUFOR Major General Reinhard Trischak in an inaugural visit.
They discussed the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in particular the close cooperation with state authorities and international organizations, which is very important for the further progress of BiH.
It was emphasized that the main objective is to secure a safe and stable environment as well as to support the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially through training programs of the Armed Forces of BiH. The officials discussed the formation of the government and Chairman Komšić reiterated his position that this is a matter of compliance with laws and previous decisions of the competent institutions of BiH, i.e. that those who are willing to abide by applicable laws and strategic decisions made regarding NATO integration should participate in the formation of the new Council of Ministers of BiH.
The interlocutors emphasized their commitment to continue the reform activities that will bring Bosnia and Herzegovina to EU membership, the BiH Presidency stated.
