BANJA LUKA, November 18 (FENA) - President of the Serb Democratic Party (SDS) Mirko Šarović said that a session of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly should be held this week at which, thanks to the SDS and PDP initiative to amend the Rules of Procedure, its work should be unblocked.
Šarović said that the exact date for the request for amendment of the Rules of Procedure would be submitted depends on the circumstances that are of technical nature, and added that it could be next Monday.
“After that, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers is obliged to convene a special session within three days. I believe we have the support of at least 27 MPs, some of them have already signed our initiative, so I think we will have the majority for this decision,” Šarović said.
He explained that the amendment to the Rules of Procedure will unblock the work of the House of Representatives in such a way that all parties, including the SNSD, can continue to give their representatives to the committees.
