SARAJEVO, November 15 (FENA) - Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina Gordana Tadić, with her associates, met with Head of the EU Delegation and EU Special Representative to BiH Ambassador Johann Sattler and his associates.
This is Sattler's first visit to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH after taking office on September 1 this year.
The Chief Prosecutor briefed the EU Special Representative on the work and the activities of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH in the process of strengthening the rule of law, as well as activities planned in the future and operation of this institution.
The Chief Prosecutor once again expressed gratitude to the European Union for its assistance and support to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, which is reflected in the support in building and equipping the institution's capacities, assistance in expert and professional training, as well as other forms of support for the rule of law in BiH.
During this and last year, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH participated in several activities and joint operations with counterparts and partner institutions from the EU countries, and in the fight against various forms of organized international crime.
At the meeting, the collocutors emphasized that strengthening the rule of law and safety of citizens, are the key elements in establishing European values in BiH, and a very important segment in the process of European integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina, said the Prosecutor's Office of BiH.
