TUZLA, November 12 (FENA) - Police commissioners from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at a meeting organized by the FBiH Police Administration in Tuzla over the past two days, stressed that the security situation in the FBiH is satisfactory, but pointed to an increasingly serious situation with migrants, assessing that the Una-Sana Canton as the most vulnerable in this respect.

“Certain problems with migrants are also expressed in the Sarajevo Canton and Tuzla Canton. There are other cantons that are affected by this problem. Regardless of the fact that this problem is the responsibility of the state institutions, we in the Federation of BiH must not leave this problem to chance. We need to keep an eye on what's going on,” TC Police Director Dževad Korman said after the meeting.

He believes that Tuzla faces huge problems due to the migrant crisis, and given the worsening weather conditions.

Such conditions will be exacerbated by the inadequate functioning of the state authorities, that is, the international organization dealing with the issue of migrants.

“What we can expect in the coming days are break-ins into abandoned homes. They will not be able to withstand so many disadvantages, which is why we expect burglaries to occur and this is a serious problem. Also, we need to intervene from the humane point of view and show understanding for these people,” says Korman.
