Fazlić: Vučjak remains open until a new location is determined

FENA Press release

BIHAĆ, November 8 (FENA) – Mayor of Bihać Šuhret Fazlić said today that the temporary reception center for illegal migrants Vučjak will remain open until a new location within BiH is determined. He also stated that migrants will not be relocated to current migrant centers Bira, Borići or Sedra.

“We have started activities to solve this problem and the Bihać City Council has determined the location of Lipa site. We have proposed a new location, but now the state needs to find a solution,” concluded Mayor Fazlić, it was announced from the Mayor's Office.

Fazlić also warned that the Vučjak camp is still needed because migrants come every night.

“If there is no center in Vučjak we will have ten of them in the center of Bihać and that is unacceptable,” said Fazlić.
