SARAJEVO, November 6 (FENA) - FBiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalić has welcomed the facts presented in the FBiH Tax Administration's report for January-October 2019, which testify to a strong increase in public revenue and economic growth in the Federation.
"The fact that 4.3 billion KM was collected in the first ten months of this year, which is 2 billion more than in the entity of RS. Also, it is 96.9 million KM more than in the same period last year in the FBiH, which proves the intensified economic activity in the Federation, because only a growing economy can increase public revenues to this extent," Prime Minister Novalić told FENA.
Economic growth, he points out, is also confirmed by the figure on the current number of employees in the Federation (536 thousand), which is 11 thousand more employees than a year ago, in October 2018.
"The data provided by the Federation Tax Administration indicate that the number of employees in the FBiH is 65% of the number of employees throughout the country, which indicates that the FBiH is the economic backbone of the state. With the formation of the new FBiH Government and the implementation of new reforms, the Federation has the opportunity to record even stronger economic growth and an increase in living standards, which is why all FBiH political actors should support these processes, which, instead of empty politicization, will bring concrete economic benefits to citizens," Prime Minister Novalić said in a statement to FENA.
