BiH Armed Forces officer indicted under corruption charges

SARAJEVO, November 6 (FENA) - The BiH Prosecutor's Office Prosecutor has indicted Ramiz Mićivoda, born on January 3, 1969, in Goražde, employed in the Armed Forces of BiH.

The accused is charged with misusing his official position as an active military person, in the rank of the AF BiH Colonel in charge of civilian-military cooperation, in the tactical support brigade at the Rajlovac barracks, for the purpose of obtaining an illicit property gain.

He is charged with misusing his official duty to demand and obtain money from persons engaged in agriculture and allowing them to use the land near the Rajlovac barracks owned by the AF BiH, for the lease and collection of money for which he has not been authorized.

According to the Indictment, the accused Mićivoda met with the persons who suffered damage and demanded money from them, and on two occasions he took the money from the damages parties at the agreed location.

The accused is charged with exceeding the limits of his official duties as an official in the institutions of BiH, obtaining illicit property gain and causing financial damage to other persons, the BiH Prosecutor's Office said.
