SARAJEVO, November 5 (FENA) - Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Denis Zvizdić after a session of the Collegium of the House of Representative that there were no new developments that could mean a soon convening of a regular session of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament.

“The views are still identical to those we have witnessed for almost ten months now. I believe that there is no justifiable reason not to hold regular sessions of the House of Representatives of the BiH PA, given the fact that we have elected representatives and the leadership,” Zvizdić said.

But unfortunately, he added, the House of Representatives has not been fully constituted because one political party did not submit its candidates, i.e. members for parliamentary committees, which is a mandatory, indispensable part in the process of considering and passing laws and other acts in the House of Representatives.

He called on the representatives of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) to submit the nominees for the committees of the House of Representatives of the BiH PA, and later on the candidates for the joint commissions to be formed with the House of Peoples, "in order to activate the funds, which currently amount to around one billion and one hundred million euros, predominantly intended for transport infrastructure throughout BiH and for utility infrastructure in many cities and municipalities of BiH, as well as for employment projects, which would significantly contribute to strengthening the economic basis for development and job creation and improvement of the living standard."

“This is an appeal to those who, for guided by exclusively particularistic, political and personal interests, block, unconstitutionally and illegally, the work of the highest legislative body at the state level,” Zvizdić emphasized.
