SARAJEVO, November 4 (FENA) - Companies from 18 countries participated in this year's 20th edition of the Deloitte Contest of the 50 fastest growing Central European IT companies.
In the Technology Fast 50 main category, the ‘Ministry of Programming’ company was ranked as the only company from BiH and the only company outside the European Union.
In the main technology competition category (Technology Fast 50), among the 50 fastest growing technology companies, this year we saw 37 new companies for the first time, and it became clear that the region has become the focus of innovative and creative young companies shaping the future.
This also points to the "good health" of the technology sector in the region, as start-up companies launched only a few years ago have seen significant growth and have become established fast-growing technology companies.
For the first time, the Ministry of Programming software company was ranked on the list of 50 fastest-growing companies. It was ranked 21st with a growth rate of 813 percent.
The Ministry of Programming is a software company established in 2015 in Sarajevo that seeks to enable entrepreneurs to create, enhance and succeed in the provision of new products and services.
Two years ago, they received the Foreign Investors Council award for being the most innovative company in BiH. Their innovative startup solutions put them on the list of top 3 of the top 50 startups in Europe, according to a recent survey by Google and McKinsey.
