SARAJEVO, October 29 (FENA) - The House of Representatives of the Federation of BiH Parliament today adopted a proposed set of laws relating to the judgment of the Constitutional Court concerning notarial activities.

The FBiH Government wanted to implement the decision of the FBiH Constitutional Court, which ruled, among other things, that the Law on Notaries was not in accordance with the FBiH Constitution.

In addition to the amendments to the Law on Notaries, the deputies approved the proposed amendments to the Law on Inheritance in FBiH, the Law on Registration of Business Entities, the Law on Property Rights, the Law on Land Registry and the Family Law.

After considering the above set of laws, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has accepted amendments of the parliamentary caucus of the Democratic Front-Civic Alliance, which have become an integral part of the Bill amending the Law on Notaries.

The Government also accepted the Amendments of this caucus that apply to the above set of five pieces of legislation.

In order for the proposed amendments on the notarial activity to take effect, they also need to be supported by the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament.
