Zvizdić receives ambassadors of Sweden and Austria

SARAJEVO, October 29 (FENA) - BiH Council of Ministers Chairman Denis Zvizdić received in a separate visit the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to BiH Johanna Strőmquist and Austrian Ambassador to BiH Ulrike Hartmann and briefed them on the current political and economic situation in BiH.

Zvizdić emphasized that Bosnia and Herzegovina has extremely good and friendly relations with both countries and that there is a large space for expanding cooperation in the fields of economy, culture, and education.

During the meeting, Ambassador Strőmquist informed Zvizdić about Princess Victoria's official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Princess Victoria will also be accompanied by her husband Daniel Westling and Deputy Prime Minister Isabella Lovin.

Ambassador Strőmquist said the aim of this visit was to strengthen good relations between the two countries and stressed that this visit was one of two official visits the Princess made during the year.

Chairman Zvizdić thanked for all that Sweden had done for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"We especially appreciate your friendly and institutional attitude towards BiH, as well as numerous projects that have been implemented through your agencies," said Chairman Zvizdić during the meeting.

He stressed that the Bosnian-Herzegovinian diaspora is an extremely important link between the two countries and said that it represents the best example of good integration into society.

During the meeting with the Austrian Ambassador Hartmann, it was stated that bilateral cooperation is extremely good and that friendly relations should be further enhanced.

Chairman Zvizdić briefed Ambassadors Strőmquist and Hartmann on the process of government formation in BiH and said that it was working on finding a model that would lead to the formation of the government based on respect for the rule of law.

Chairman Zvizdić wished Ambassadors Strőmquist and Hartmann a successful term of office in Bosnia and Herzegovina and said that BiH remains a reliable partner in promoting the Euro-Atlantic path, the Council of Ministers of BiH said.
