TUZLA, October 28 (FENA) – Mayor of Živinice Samir Kamenjaković signed an Agreement with Tuzla Thermal Power Plant (TPP) to continue cooperation for the construction of heating system and use of the Thermal Power Plant facilities for Živinice district heating.

In the coming period, the Municipality will do its best to declare this project a matter of public interest, as well as the work on land expropriation and conceptual design. The value of the project is about KM 17 million.

Municipality of Živinice has waited long time for such an agreement, which envisages the construction of a heating network from the Tuzla Thermal Power Plant.

"Part of the territory where the heating system should pass belongs to the City of Tuzla and it was agreed that it would go through Kiseljak, in order to save money on land expropriation, which would contribute to certainty of the heating system itself. We received an accurate estimate from the representatives of Elektroprivreda BiH that the heating could be completed in 2022," said Kamenjaković.
