BANJA LUKA, October 27 (FENA) - A voice that was raised by Bosniaks in Sweden against the Nobel Prize in Literature for Peter Handke, the negator of the Srebrenica genocide, who glorified war criminals, was very important," said Ramiz Salkić, vice president of of the entity of RS during his visit to Sweden.
During his two-day visit to the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina living in Sweden, Salkić held panels and lectures at which he spoke about the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
At the events in Gothenburg and Boras, the entity vice president paid special attention to discrimination against Bosniaks in the RS entity, denial of genocide and the Bosnian language, and spoke about stronger involvement of the diaspora in democratic processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He emphasized that the citizens currently living outside the homeland have enormous potential and support for the future progress and development of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"I always like to emphasize the importance of your involvement in democratic processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in order to contribute to the path of strengthening democratic capacities in our country. I urge you to take this opportunity as responsible citizens,” he added.
One way to change the current situation in our country, he said, is through democratic processes and choosing those forces that want to continue the fight for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
During his two-day stay in Sweden, the Vice President in Gothenburg and Boras also promoted his book, "Years of Fighting for Freedom, Honor and Dignity", which speaks of the longstanding struggle against systemic discrimination against Bosniaks in the BiH entity of Republika Srpska.
