SARAJEVO, October 23 (FENA) - BiH Minister of Security, Dragan Mektić met today with FBiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalić to discuss cooperation and support in managing the migrant situation in BiH.
Minister Mektić informed Prime Minister Novalić about the current situation and challenges in this area, emphasizing the problem of lack of adequate sites for the construction of reception centers for migrant accommodation, adding that this is especially needed in the Una-Sana Canton, where the largest number of migrants are located.
FBiH Government is willing to support state institutions to manage the migrant situation more effectively, in order to enhance the security and humanitarian protection of migrants, the BiH Ministry of Security stated.
