Indictment confirmed in Radovan Paprica et al. case for war crime in Foča

SARAJEVO, October 23 (FENA) - The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the indictment in the case of Radovan Paprica et al. charging the accused Radovan Paprica and Slavko Ognjenović with the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity under Article 172(1)g) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC BiH).

The indictment alleges that from early April 1992 to late March 1993, during a widespread and systematic attack by military, paramilitary and police forces of the so-called Serb Republic of BiH, subsequently Republika Srpska, directed against the Bosniak population of the Foča municipality, knowing of the attack and that their actions constituted part of the attack, as members of the armed forces of the Serb Republic of BiH, subsequently Republika Srpska, by the use of force and threat, the accused raped a civilian, stated the BiH Court.
