Minister Dedić discuss agricultural projects with UNDP representatives

SARAJEVO, October 22 (FENA) – FBiH Minister of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry Šemsudin Dedić met today with UNDP Resident Representative in BiH Steliana Nedera and UNDP Sector Leader for Rural and Regional Development Adela Pozder-Čengić, it is said in a statement of the FBiH Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry, PR Office of the FBiH Government announced. 

Nedera informed the Minister that UNDP, together with the Czech Development Agency, had been selected for the implementation of the European Union Agricultural Competitiveness and Rural Development Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina - EU4Agri, which will be implemented in March 2020.

“FBiH Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry, in cooperation with UNDP, as an international organization with extensive experience in working with all levels of government in BiH, will make its maximum contribution to make the EU4Agri project as efficient as possible,” said Minister Dedić.

Regarding the Municipal Environmental and Economic Governance Project (MEG), implemented by UNDP with the support of the Government of Switzerland in local communities in BiH, Minister Dedić welcomed the activities in the utility sector, expressing his willingness to cooperate in order to improve regulatory framework in this sector.
