SARAJEVO, October 21 (FENA) - Bosnia and Herzegovina exported goods worth eight billion and 663 million KM in the period January-September this year, which is 2 percent less than in the same period in 2018, while imports amounted to 14 billion and 623 million KM, which is an increase by 1.9 percent.
The BiH Statistics Agency announced that the import-export ratio amounted to 59.2 percent, while the foreign trade deficit amounted to 5 billion and 960 million KM.
Exports to CEFTA countries amounted to 1 billion and 409 million KM, which is 0.6 percent less, while imports amounted to 1 billion and 784 million KM, which is 3.4 percent more than in the same period of 2018.
The import-export ratio with CEFTA countries was 79 percent.
Exports to the EU countries amounted to six billion and 397 million KM, which is 1.6 percent less than in the same period last year, while imports amounted to 9 billion and 75 million KM, which is 5.4 percent more than in the same period last year.
The import-export ratio with EU countries was 70.5 percent.
