SARAJEVO, October 11 (FENA) - BiH Presidency Member Šefik Džaferović received the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Turkey, Fatih Metin.
Metin informed Džaferović on the level of implementation of the project of exporting fresh meat from Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Republic of Turkey, which aims to ensure strengthening and development of the agricultural sector in our country.
During the meeting it was emphasized that the project is primarily to support returnees and increase their standard of living. The interlocutors pointed out the importance of the signed Free Trade Agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Turkey, which ensures the long-term export of fresh meat and meat products from Bosnia and Herzegovina to Turkey.
They also emphasized the need to preserve the transparency of the entire process, ensuring that agricultural producers have guaranteed purchase and sale of their products, PR Office of BiH Presidency stated.
