SARAJEVO, October 9 (FENA) - Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH and Minister of Finance and Treasury, Vjekoslav Bevanda, received today the newly appointed EU Special Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina and Head of the EU Delegation to BiH, Ambassador Johann Sattler.
Minister Bevanda wished success during his diplomatic term to Ambassador Sattler and expressed hope that future cooperation would be as good as it has been so far.
The interlocutors assessed that the deadlock in reforms exist because the government has not been formed in BiH yet, and emphasized that it is necessary to address at least those activities that are not dependent on this process.
Minister Bevanda emphasized that the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH is completing its part of the work in the procedures of contracting loan agreement, regular repayment of loans, as well as activities related to the 2020 budget.
The Minister of Finance and Treasury pointed out that, although the budget for this year has not been adopted to date, the calendar commitments and regulations for the preparation of the budget for the next year are complied with, but that it is necessary to establish the Global Fiscal Framework and the Framework Budget Document for a three-year period before that.
Ambassador Sattler stressed that the EU Delegation will always support BiH on its European path, the BiH Ministry of Finance and Treasury stated.
