SARAJEVO, September 30 (FENA) - High school students from Bosnia and Herzegovina visited today the BiH Parliamentary Assembly as part of the "Initiate Dialogue: Active Youth for Transparent Parliaments" project, which is being implemented by the Association "Perpetum Mobile-Institute for Youth and Community Development" Banja Luka.

In the previous period, youth from BiH (three municipalities in Republika Srpska and three municipalities in the Federation of BiH) had training in advocacy and parliamentarism. They visited the RS National Assembly and the FBiH Parliament, where they spoke with the entity parliamentarians.

Student Pavle Tuševljak from secondary school “Istočna Ilidža” believes that the conversation could solve the problems that young people have and that are important for BiH and its development.

“Youth should be provided with adequate education, given the opportunity to improve, work and demonstrate knowledge not only locally but globally, but with a base in the country that would fund the projects. We want state of BiH to be the main generator of youth incentives,” Tuševljak emphasized.

Project coordinator of the Perpetuum Mobile Institute Srđan Ostojić stated that key problems of young people are unemployment, mismatch of secondary education with the labor market, young people leaving BiH, insufficient practice, (in) mobility.

Today there were no BiH parliamentarians to talk to the students, so about 200 of them from BiH will visit BiH Parliament and simulate a session of the assembly over the next two days.
