SARAJEVO, September 23 (FENA) - The first of the four levels of the Light Infantry Battalion Group rating system has officially begun at 'Mika Bosnić Barracks', at Bosnia and Herzegovina Armed Forces Combat Training Center in Manjača, with lining up and military display of the Light Infantry Battalion Group (INF-L-BNG), the largest AFBiH unit declared.
SEL-1 (Self Evaluation Level 1) Assessment of the Light Infantry Battalion Group will be conducted from 23 to 27 September at Manjača, with 1,075 military personnel participating, of which 840 are members of the INF-L-BNG, the unit being evaluated.
The military display of the Light Infantry Battalion Group (INF-L-BNG) at 'Mika Bosnić Barracks' was carried out by Major General Radovan Ilić, Commander of the AFBiH Operational Command.
The event was attended by Deputy Commander of the Operational Command (OCBiH), Brigadier General Kenan Dautović, Commander of the Training and Doctrine Command (KOiD), Brigadier Slaven Blavicki, and all commanders of the OCBiH Brigades.
General Ilić emphasized that the assessment SEL-1 of the the Light Infantry Battalion Group is a new step by the AFBiH in terms of declaring a new unit of the Battalion Combat Group rank.
On Thursday, September 26, Visitor's Day will be organized at the Combat Training Center when representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, the BiH Ministry of Defense, the AFBiH Joint Staff, NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo, EUFOR, the AFBiH Command units, diplomatic representatives in BiH and representatives of civilian authorities in BiH are expected to attend, the BiH MoD PR Office announced.
