FBiH Governement holds emergency session-No hiring of new workers at coal mines

SARAJEVO, September 22 (FENA) - FBiH Government held an emergency telephone session yesterday and urged mines operating within Elektroprivreda BiH Concern, namely the subsidiary companies Mines "Kreka" d.o.o. Tuzla, brown coal mine "Đurđevik" d.o.o. Đurđevik, brown coal mine "Kakanj" d.o.o. Kakanj, brown coal mine "Breza" d.o.o. Breza, brown coal mine “Zenica” d.o.o. Zenica, brown coal mine “Abid Lolić”  d.o.o. Travnik-Bila, coal mine "Gračanica" d.o.o. Gornji Vakuf-Uskoplje and brown coal mine "Banovići" d.d. Banovići, which management rights are exercised by the FBiH Government, based on the participation of the state capital, to immediately stop all procedures of hiring new workers.

The obligation to stop these application procedures also applies to all initiated hiring procedures, regardless of whether they are on a temporary or permanent basis.

Members of the management and supervisory boards of these companies are in charge of aligning business policies of the companies with development policies of the FBiH Government.

Exceptionally, the FBiH Government may approve implementation of application procedure and employment, at the request of these companies, with previously obtained opinion of the FBiH Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry, as well as submitted plan for reorganization of mines.

This decision comes into force on the day of its adoption, the FBiH Government Office of Public Relations announced.
