Čampara: Inzko’s reactions shocking, BiH admitted to the UN as Republic of BiH

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, September 19 (FENA) - High Representative Valentin Inzko's statements on the SDA Program Declaration are quite shocking and appear to have been forced under pressure from Milorad Dodik, said SDA Presidency Member Aljoša Čampara.

“To say that it was necessary to propose a declaration that is acceptable to another political option, making it clear that the other political option is SNSD, which is very strange, inappropriate and non-documented,” said Čampara.

According to him, such statement is contradictory because it opposes the views of the High Representative so far, in which Dodik's policy is labeled as anti-state, secessionist and threatening to peace and stability in BiH and the region.

“It is also counterproductive, as it directly suggests to the SDA, as a state-building party whose key political goal is to preserve sovereign and democratic BiH as a state of equal peoples and citizens, that it "should" have proposed a declaration acceptable to Dodik and anti-European policies that deny international law and glorify war crimes, deny genocide, glorify joint criminal enterprise, name schools after war criminal Radovan Karadžić, advocate state dissolution, deny right to Bosnian language, make scandalous and fascist statements that Muslims re-occupy the Drina River etc.,” Čampara stated.

He also said that it is hard to believe that the High Representative, if he read the Declaration, makes such assessments, and unjustified and legally unfounded criticisms, since the SDA Program Declaration is fully aligned with the European standards, and is the only party declaration with clearly accepted recommendations of the European Commission Opinion.
