SARAJEVO, September 15 (FENA) - Incumbent president of Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Bakir Izetbegović has been reelected as president of the party yesterday in Sarajevo.
Delegates at the Seventh SDA Congress voted unanimously for Izetbegović to lead them for another four years.
More than 1,200 delegates elected Izetbegović by acclamation. They had previously, by majority vote, with two abstained, chosen this method of election instead of secret ballot.
Izetbegović, who has been the leader of the party so far, thanked the delegates and briefly said: "Thank you and I wish all of you well. We continue our work."
