MOSTAR, September 12 (FENA) - Commenting on the current situation in Mostar's Aluminij, FBiH Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Nermin Džindić said the Aluminij restructuring plan, which was submitted to the Ministry, was unprofessional.
“Out of 950 people, 500 have already received severance pay and are no longer among Aluminij workers. The other 350-390 workers were awarded some new contracts at lower wages and this is not an issue of dispute. However, the restructuring plan for Aluminij, which came before this ministry and has received many objections, was done in a very unprofessional manner and was very skimpy,” Minister Džindić said at a press conference in Mostar.
He stressed that a plan must be drawn up for Aluminij, which entails technical, technological, financial and any other analysis, as well as a contract for the foundry.
All that, Džindžić stressed, is missing from the current plan.
