SARAJEVO, September 12 (FENA) - BiH Presidency Member Šefik Džaferović received Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany Margret Uebber in an inaugural visit.
They agree that bilateral relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Federal Republic of Germany, both politically and economically but also culturally, are extremely good.
Ambassador Uebber emphasized that Germany has a strong interest in accompanying the whole region, especially Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that stability and self-sustainable development of our country is in German interest.
She particularly emphasized that Germany is strongly committed to the perspective of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Western Balkans region in the European Union.
BiH Presidency Member Džaferović underlined the importance of the support Germany is providing to our country in all areas, especially the path towards the EU and NATO. He expressed satisfaction with principled stance of Germany regarding BiH and region.
They exchanged views on the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the process of establishing the Council of Ministers and the continuation of the BiH’s path towards NATO.
Džaferović wished German Ambassador Margret Uebber a successful mandate in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the BiH Presidency stated.
