False texts containing statements by Minister Bevanda reported to SIPA

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, September 12 (FENA) - Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH announced today that texts with false statements have been posted on social media for several days by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH, Vjekoslav Bevanda, who allegedly calls for trade cryptocurrencies, which is why the case was reported to relevant police agencies in BiH yesterday.

“The letters sent to the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and the Intelligence-Security Agency (OSA) require that links and pages appearing on these texts where Minister Bevanda invites citizens to enter their personal information, credit card numbers and to deposit certain sums of money for multiple earnings are checked,” it is said in a statement.

Given that there have already been calls from journalists checking this false information, the BiH Ministry of Finance and Treasury is informing the public that these are false but also paid texts, which is why the Ministry expects police agencies to take all measures provided by law to protect citizens from fraud as well as Minister Bevanda and the institution he represents.
