SARAJEVO, September 9 (FENA) - International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the FBiH Red Cross signed an Agreement for support in securing meals for refugees and asylum seekers residing at the Salakovac Refugee Center, within a project funded by the European Union.
This agreement will finance the staff of Mostar Red Cross, as well as the procurement, preparation and delivery of food.
Under the Agreement, more than KM 42.500 will be used for preparation and delivery of three meals a day for 115 refugees and asylum seekers currently residing at the Salakovac Refugee Center.
All meals will be prepared and delivered in accordance with international standards which guarantee nutritional value and diversity.
The agreement was signed today by Acting Head of Mission at IOM in BiH Irma Sadiković and Secretary General of the Red Cross of the Federation of BiH Namik Hodžić.
Project "EU support to Migration and Border Management in BiH", for which the European Union allocated 14.8 million euros, is implemented by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in partnership with UNHCR and UNICEF, Service for Public Informing of IOM stated.
