Sarajevo Youth Film Festival opened with the film 'Dog Days of Summer'

SARAJEVO, September 8 (FENA) - The Sarajevo Youth Film Festival (OFF) officially opened on Friday at Multiplex Cinema City, with the screening of the film "Dog Days of Summer" by Serbian director Nikola Stojanović.

Stojanović introduced himself to the audience together with his production crew and actors, saying it was an honor to be in Sarajevo again and to show his film to the Sarajevo audience.

Director of the Festival, Kenan Musić, in addition to welcoming numerous guests and friends, gave special recognition to individuals and companies that support the work and development of film art in BiH, especially among the younger generations.

Organizers presented the program that will include screenings of 44 films from 12 countries, with a record number of premieres so far, a total of 25.

Among the many visitors who walked the red carpet last night were representatives of 20 film crews from the festival's competition selections, jury members Milena Debeljković and Bojana Radulović, and renowned French documentary producer Thiery Detaille.

The ceremony was attended by Mirvad Kurić, Minister of Culture and Sports and a longtime friend of the Festival, producers Lejla Dedić and Robert Tomić Zuber, representatives of the embassies of the United States, the Federal Republic of Germany, and the British Embassy.
