SARAJEVO, September 5 (FENA) - The BiH Presidency Member Šefik Džaferović received the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China, Ji Ping, who brought him a personal letter from the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, stating that relations between the two countries show a good trend in the development of mutual relations, while practical cooperation in all areas has progressed.
“I attach great importance to the development of relations between China and Bosnia and Herzegovina and I am ready, together with you, to invest efforts to continuously improve the friendly relations of our countries, for the benefit of our countries and our peoples,” stated President Xi Jinping in his letter.
Džaferović and Ambassador Ping exchanged views on the current political situation in BiH and China.
They expressed mutual interest in the continuation of intensive cooperation within the "17 + 1" initiative and in the implementation of infrastructure and energy projects in BiH, stated the BiH Presidency.
