SARAJEVO, September 5 (FENA) - A meeting on the launch of the development of an integrated development strategy for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the period 2021-2027 was held in Sarajevo today.
This is a document that will, in a harmonized manner, define and present the development priorities of the Federation of BiH.
Assistant Director at the FBiH Institute for Development Programming and Head of Strategy Development Team, Nijaz Avdukić, told FENA that today's gathering has brought together experts who will provide assistance in various areas, and will contribute to the quality of the strategy.
“The Development Strategy has four areas of intervention - economic development, social development, sustainable infrastructure development, good governance and the fight against corruption. Those are the four pillars we will work on,” he said.
He stresses that, in general, the development of an integrated strategy takes at least a year. However, they will try to do most of the work within the next six to seven months to have the document ready for adoption by the FBiH Government and the Parliament in the spring of 2020.
Today's meeting represents the preparation and an agreement for the next stages of strategy development, and was attended by experts from various fields involved in drafting the document.
