SARAJEVO, August 30 (FENA) – Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PA BiH), Nikola Špirić, received today in a farewell visit Head of the OSCE Mission to BiH, Ambassador Bruce G. Berton.
Špirić expressed his appreciation to Ambassador Berton for his personal involvement and contribution to meeting the aims of the OSCE Mission to BiH, as well as for activities supporting the work of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly.
According to Deputy Spirić, the OSCE Mission to BiH has played a significant role in building a democratic society, institutions, as well as in the area of human rights protection.
During the meeting, the two officials expressed their belief that positive activities of the OSCE Mission to BiH will continue in the coming period, including significant support for activities of the PA BiH.
They also discussed the current political situation in BiH, the PA BiH stated.
