KONJIC, August 30 (FENA) - A forest fire that broke out in the Visočica Mountain region near Konjic on Wednesday, has been spreading since yesterday due to strong winds.
All available capacities of the Konjic fire brigade are engaged in the firefighting efforts, announced today the Operational Center of Civil Protection Service of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.
Due to the rapid spread of fires and the inability to extinguish it from land, the assistance of helicopters of the Armed Forces of BiH has been requested.
