Association 'Svjetlo': A peaceful walk against parade of LGBT population

SARAJEVO, August 29 (FENA) - A citizens' association 'Svjetlo' stated today that it does not support “the announced parade of the LGBT population on September 8 in Sarajevo and that it will express its discontent with a peaceful walk.”

“Given that a public announcement of the organizers of the announced LGBT parade issued earlier stated that, inter alia, 'the citizens of Sarajevo support us', we hereby inform the organizers of the announced parade of LGBT population that we do not support them and will express our objection with a peaceful walk. We invite all associations and all citizens to join us on this walk, the same day the parade has been announced,” stated the association.

The association “Svjetlo” says that "the family entails and emotional system of at least three generations of living relatives linked by blood, legal and historical ties."

“You enter a family by birth and you exit it by death. In some families, not even then, because participation in the psychodynamic of family life continues after the death of a member. That is why it is said that family is a membership with no choice and no way out. The importance of the family is reflected in its pivotal role for the development of the individual because no other system is able to provide the necessary love and warmth that can be provided by a biological family,” it is said in the statement of this association.
