SARAJEVO, August 28 (FENA) - Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdić received today in a farewell visit Head of the EU Delegation to BiH and EU Special Representative in BiH, Ambassador Lars-Gunnar Wigemark. The two officials discussed the current political situation and the most important foreign policy aim of BiH, which is continuation of the European path of BiH.
Chairman Zvizdić said that Bosnia and Herzegovina is committed to the European path and stressed that in the coming period it is important to provide necessary conditions for accession to the European Union, which would improve our economic perspective.
Chairman Zvizdić informed Ambassador Wigemark about the level of preparation of the Action Plan for the implementation of 115 priorities from the European Commission's Analytical Report and said that the document is in the final stage and that the Directorate for European Integration is working on its finalization in cooperation with institutions at all levels of government in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Chairman Zvizdić and Ambassador Wigemark agreed that it is necessary to accelerate the formation of government in order to continue reforms that are significant for all BiH citizens.
Ambassador Wigemark congratulated the successful implementation of activities in the past period and expressed confidence that Bosnia and Herzegovina would continue its progress on its path of European integration.
Deputy Head of the Delegation of the European Union to BiH Khaldoun Sinno also attended the meeting, as it is stated from BiH Council of Ministers.
