EAST SARAJEVO, August 26 (FENA) - The entity of RS will mark September 9 as the “Day of remembrance of the victims of NATO bombing and the aggression against RS".
“On that day, in 1995, Radmila and Radenko Galnac were killed in 1995 by NATO forces, and they are one of the first victims,” it was said today in East Sarajevo at a subcommittee meeting to convened for the marking of this event.
Assistant Entity Minister of Labor, Veterans and Disability Affairs Radomir Graonić said that the marking will be held in the municipalities of Istočna Ilidža and Istočno Novo Sarajevo, where a solemn academy will be held, and billboards will be set up to keep the public informed about the event.
The participants of the meeting supported the proposal for the City of East Sarajevo to launch an initiative to erect a memorial to honor, as they say, “the victims of NATO bombing and the aggression.”
