SARAJEVO, August 21 (FENA) - A TALE OF THREE SISTERS by the Turkish director Emin Alper, about isolated and difficult life in Turkish villages, was screened today at a press screening of the Competition Program – Feature Film of the 25th Sarajevo Film Festival.

The story is about sisters who meet in their hometown after a few years living and doing various jobs in the city. They try to find meaning in the current life circumstances, but also a way to get out of a depressed hopeless environment.

The movie was shot at an authentic, mountainous village location, and the film crew had to drive an hour every day to the location. The house where the three sisters live with their father is adapted for the needs of the film since it was once a village school.

The regional premiere of the film A TALE OF THREE SISTERS by the Turkish director Emin Alper, will bring the Competition Program – Feature Film of the 25th Sarajevo Film Festival to a close. The screening will be held tonight at 22:00 at the National Theatre. The jury will determine this year’s winners of the Heart of Sarajevo on Thursday, August 22.
