SARAJEVO, August 21 (FENA) - Bosnia and Herzegovina increased trade deficit by 12.11 percent in the first six months of 2019, and it is particularly alarming that BiH imports 92 percent of food, BiH Foreign Trade Chamber stated today at the presentation in Sarajevo.
Export of 6 billion KM was realized in the first six months of 2019, which is 0.05 percent less than in the same period last year. Import was 9.94 billion KM, which is 4.43 percent less.
The most significant foreign trade partners of BiH in export in the observed period were: Germany with 14.43 percent, Croatia with 12.59 percent, Italy with 11.82 percent, and Serbia with 11.09 percent.
BiH also continued to import mostly from Croatia, then Serbia, Slovenia and Germany.
