SARAJEVO, August 20 (FENA) - The regular session of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina has ended before it even began, and the agenda was to consider adopting the Annual National Program (ANP), a document requested by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in order to activate Membership Action Plan (MAP) for BiH.
BiH Presidency Chairman Željko Komšić confirmed to the press that the ANP had been removed from the agenda prior to the session because there was no agreement on the document.
“Regarding this issue, it was also decided to cancel the extraordinary session of the Presidency, at which the appointment of a new chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH was planned,” explained Komšić.
The document also became a stumbling block among political leaders, that slowed down the process of state-level government formation following the parliamentary elections held in BiH last October.
