SARAJEVO, August 19 (FENA) - Formation of government in Bosnia and Herzegovina after last year's parliamentary elections and the need to reach consensus for the country's further progress were the topics of today's meeting between US Ambassador Eric Nelson and Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Matthew Field with BiH Presidency Chairman Željko Komšić.
This meeting is scheduled ahead of tomorrow's BiH Presidency sessions, which should discuss the adoption of the Annual National Program (ANP) for NATO, as well as the extraordinary one requested by BiH Presidency Member Milorad Dodik on the decision to appoint the Chairman of BiH Council of Ministers.
After today's meeting, the leader of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA), Bakir Izetbegović, arrived to the BiH Presidency building, and confirmed to the press that he had spoken with Komšić and BiH Presidency member Šefik Džaferović (SDA).
Izetbegović also confirmed that if there is no support for sending the ANP to NATO headquarters in Brussels, the appointment of Tegeltija as the new chairman of the Council of Ministers will not be supported.
Earlier, the leaders of the SDA, SNSD and the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) BiH signed a document Principles for the Formation of Government, according to which they reached an agreement to form state-level government within 30 days.
However, political representatives from Republika Srpska refuse to endorse the document because of the resolution on military neutrality of that entity in BiH, adopted by the Republika Srpska National Assembly.
